We came to the Shizen Spa to celebrate a birthday, but unfortunately there was no mention of this, even though it was mentioned when booking. The good things: The massage was good and the therapists were nice and professional. There is a dry sauna and a wet sauna, which is definitely nice. Things that I think need improvement: The place feels under-maintained. The massage rooms were not as clean as expected from a spa, the jacuzzi was dirty on the outside and was not proper in terms of the temperature and water pressure, which was too strong. There was no coffee at all in the seating area, and everything felt very basic. In addition, there was no option to order a drink or cocktail for the pool, which is especially a shame when you come to celebrate an event. The pool is indoor, but not heated. In general, the facilities and design feel very outdated and do not create the spa and hospitality experience that we expected to receive. And finally, the price: For the price we paid, we expected to receive a higher level of experience, with maintained facilities, cleanliness, and related services that match the price. Unfortunately, we felt that the value for money simply wasn't worth it. Ultimately, the massage itself was a success, but the hospitality and facilities left us disappointed.

It was a great massage! I would have been happy if she had asked me if I wanted oil on my head.

The service was good but all the facilities are old. This is an old hotel that needs renovation.

There is no disabled access to the jacuzzi. To go to the bathroom, you have to ask a security guard to take you down to the bathroom with a dedicated facility - in short, a disappointment!

The breakfast was great, and all the facilities were excellent, the entire staff welcomed us pleasantly and it was a really good experience! Beyond that, the masseuse who massaged me was amazing, from the massage, to the thoughtfulness and the pleasant atmosphere she created! Thank you very much ✨

It was really great!!! Starting from the breakfast which offered a large selection of many foods and of course the spa. We had two master masseuses who listened to our needs and relaxed our muscles and calmed our minds.

A luxurious hotel, exceptional service, delicious and abundant breakfast. The spa has no such thing, a high-level massage is simply a pleasure. We will return again and again

Excellent hotel!! From the outside it doesn't look like much, but the inside is renovated and beautiful. The massage and the pool were all excellent! The hotel cafeteria is really, really expensive. Other than that, everything was perfect.

The jacuzzi is very old and unpleasant, the stairwells also have an old and dirty look, they need a bit of renovation to make it feel more pleasant. The locker rooms are pleasant and relatively clean. It's nice that there is shampoo and soap and there are corners to get dressed in privacy. The pool is pleasant, you need covers or large towels for the beds. The massage itself was excellent. We enjoyed it very much and it was a good experience overall.
