A fun day at the Shizen Spa at the Daniel Hotel. Breakfast, use of the facilities, an indoor pool, an outdoor pool facing the relaxing sea, and for dessert, a body massage. We enjoyed every moment. We will definitely be back again ❤️

The hotel facilities were excellent. But in terms of the massage - unfortunately my husband didn't enjoy it, his masseuse spoke almost no Hebrew and didn't understand when he asked for it to be louder and it wasn't at all like a Swedish massage, but more like a "summer" one. My masseuse was good but in the middle of the massage the music stopped and the masseuse stopped the massage to try to put music on the TV and for long minutes she fussed with the TV until I got her attention (after all, we only have 45 minutes and it's a shame to waste them, especially when we paid a lot of money...). In addition, we didn't receive the wine glasses that came with our package and the women's locker rooms weren't clean, and in the middle of the shower the cleaner (a man!) came in to clean... disappointing.

The massage was scheduled for 1:45 PM, but I actually got in at 1:53 PM because she was late. The massage took place in a room next to the reception, so there was noise from outside. During the massage itself, the masseuse made unpleasant noises. I was really waiting for her to move on to her feet. Her cell phone vibrated in my pocket next to my head several different times. She finished the massage after only 25 minutes, instead of half an hour. Simply disgraceful. At the end of the day, he was promised that they would contact me the next day. After 4 days, no one spoke to me. The place itself is beautiful and inviting, but service is supposed to be above all else.

Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves, but I do have suggestions for improving the experience - when we arrived at the reception, there was a problem with the credit card machine that delayed us for a few minutes. During this time, we did not receive any explanation (nor after payment was made) about what to do, where to go, where to wait for the therapists. I had to stop the clerk from talking to another customer who had come to inquire about the spa so that she could explain to us where to go (how to get to the changing rooms, robes, lockers, etc.). We went downstairs and when we went up, one of the therapists was waiting for us at the top of the stairs, looking for us, suddenly feeling a bit stressed. She asked if we had filled out the health declaration form, and of course we hadn't, because they barely treated us at the reception. So we filled out the form quickly and ran for the massage. I've had quite a few spa days in my life, there's a lot of room for improvement in the reception of the audience. The massage was good, the music really wasn't. Old familiar songs that not everyone likes, and one of them was also quite bouncy, which didn't allow me to really relax. We had a lot of fun at the pool, the food in the cafeteria is delicious And the employee there was really lovely!

The massage was great but the whole place is not maintained. The jacuzzi is filthy. There are puddles of water everywhere and there are not enough maintenance people to keep it dry and clean which makes it slippery and dangerous. The facilities are very outdated
